God’s Army | Bible Journaling For Kids

Hello everyone! This is going to be my first post here on my blog and I thought it would be a great way to introduce a new series that I’m starting over on my YouTube channel! I noticed that there aren’t a lot of resources regarding Bible journaling for kids so I thought I’d put together some videos and posts showing tips and tricks that I’ve learned while journaling with my own kids.

I was contacted by Joy Clair Stamps to receive and review one of their stamp sets and when I saw the God’s Army set I knew it would be perfect for my son, Ayden, to do some journaling.

Over the last couple years the Bible journaling community has grown exponentially which has led to a growth in products but I’ve still found it hard to find masculine supplies or supplies that my kids can comfortably use. Joy Clair Stamps has a wide variety of stamps but their line of Bible journaling stamps, in particular, have some great options for more gender neutral themes.

Ayden decided he wanted to use this set to create a tip-in/bookmarker for his Bible using card stock and Tim Holtz Distress Inks. This is a great technique for kids since they can make mistakes and not worry about it being a permanent mistake in their Bibles. Distress inks will bleed through your thin Bible pages but they are a great option for kids since they are water-based which equals easy cleanup and they come in a wide variety of colors.

Be sure to head on over and watch the video to see how the whole project came together!
