Bible Journaling with Gold Foil

Hello everyone! Today I’m bringing you a Bible journaling process where I color with Inktense Pencils and add some gold foiling details! You can find the process video over on my YouTube channel and the free printable at the end of this post.

A friend of mine shared this verse on her social media recently and I felt like I needed to spend some time with it in my Bible.

“Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive, and you will be forgiven…”

Luke 6:37 ESV

I don’t know about you but I really have difficulty forgiving at times, even though I know that I need to because it is what God commands us to do. I feel that I’m at a place in my life where I’m surrounded with good people that are easy to love but there are still a few who I have to pray about daily. But who am I to hold back forgiveness? God has forgiven me of all my sins without any hesitation!

This is a page that I will continually come back to as a focus for my prayers as I work through my ability to forgive more easily and willingly.

This page didn’t take very many products to complete and I love how it turned out! While grabbing the product links I noticed that the 72-count Inktense Pencils are a great price on Amazon right now so be sure to check them out!

You can find the video tutorial for this page over on my YouTube channel to see how I applied the gold foiling with out a fancy machine or any heat at all.

Here is the free printable if you’d like to trace this image into your own Bible or even use it to create a tip-in! Be sure to tag #lindseydecor so I see how you are using it in your journaling!

  4. How is your foil holding up? I tried this technique a few days ago and the gold foil is sticking my pages together. It’s not sticky to the touch, but the pages do stick together. Any suggestions or tips?

    1. I haven’t had any problems but you could try rubbing the EK success powder tool or just some plain baby powder over it to remove some of the stickiness or static that might be on there.
